Remeber to ask for PAPER BAGS at the grocery store instead of plastic. Not only are they recyclable, but also biodegradable. A plastic bag will not break down over hundreds of years in a landfill. Also, when using bags for recycling, make sure you don't fill with mixed recyclables. One type of recycling material per bag. For more on proper recycling see below.
 
Can I put recyclables in bags?
- Blue Box must be used.
   If box is full, extra recyclables should be in
   SORTED bags NEXT TO THE BLUE BOX.

Schools / Commercial
